Schwabmünchen, Germany: – Ritter Medical, the German-based manufacturer of liquid handling and robotic consumables products, shows its technically advanced sterile plastics manufacturing process in a new online video.

The video, posted on the Ritter website complements Ritter’s recently developed company guide, released in April. The video is available in high resolution and low-res versions for high and low bandwidth connections.

Automated processes

The video illustrates the complete plastics manufacturing process, including 2D and 3D CAD assisted design, CNC forming, computer controlled injection molding and final assembly, including clean room manufacturing.

The 25,000 square meter Ritter manufacturing plant at Schwabmünchen, near Augsburg in southern Bavaria is one of the most technically advanced plastics facilities in the world, producing some four million items annually. These include liquid handling dispensers and tips, robotic consumable trays and racks.

Robotic consumables

The full range of robotic consumable products is presented in a new brochure, also recently posted on the Ritter website and available at the link below (see Resources).

Ritter Key Account Manager Andreas Rauch commented: “We made this video some time back for direct presentation but thought it was time we shared it online to give a wider audience a better idea of the manufacturing expertise and innovations that support our products.”

“The video shows very well, I think, that it requires a very high level of production investment and infrastructure to enable us to bring the best possible products to market,” Mr. Rauch added.
