Ritter Medical features composite riplate® 96-well plates at MEDICA 2022

Schwabmünchen, Germany: – Ritter Medical, the German-based manufacturer of high quality robotic disposables, will be a high profile presence at the upcoming prestige MEDICA trade fair in Dusseldorf.

Ritter Medical will exhibit from its customary MEDICA home as part of the Bayern Innovativ (Bavarian Innovative) coalition at Booth 3E83 in Hall 3 at the Dusseldorf Fairgrounds.

Designed for HTS and PCR

Centerpiece of the Ritter Medical display of robotic consumable plates and tips will be its recently introduced composite riplate® PCR 96-well plates.

The riplate® PCR design uses composite materials to provide greater flexibility and better compatibility with robotic instruments as well as distinctive user benefits.

Composite advantages

The unique riplate® PCR combination of virgin polypropylene for the 96 transparent wells and polycarbonate for the surrounding frame allows these plates to deliver mechanical and temperature-resistant rigidity alongside high chemical resistance of the individual wells.

The thin-walled polypropylene wells provide excellent heat conduction and minimize condensation, while the polycarbonate surrounding frame allows riplate® PCR to be handled easily, even in hot condition. Riplate® PCR plates are stackable and include alphanumeric codes to provide each well with its own reference identity, to allow accurate identification and tracking of different samples.
