Ritter dispensing high precision shots at ILMAC 2016

Schwabmünchen, Germany: – Ritter Medical, the German-based manufacturer of technically advanced plastics for medical and research use, will find a novel use for its range of liquid handling precision dispensers and tips at the upcoming ILMAC 2016 international trade fair in Basel.

The Ritter team will use products such as Ripette, Ripette Pro and bottle dispensers, along with Ritips and Ritips Professional, to pipetting liquors, juices and syrups into 4 cl shot glasses to mix ultimate precision drinks for visitors.

Precise dosing

This will be part of live demonstrations by the Ritter team to show how different dispensers and tips can be used in various combinations to produce highly accurate samples and doses.

Ritter Medical will co-exhibit on the stand of its Swiss distributor, Vernier-based Milian S.A., at Booth A130 in Hall 1.1 at Messe Basel, where its display will highlight the company’s full range of liquid handling products, including dispensers, trays and robotic consumables.

“We have come to ILMAC because we see considerable potential to further develop our sales among Swiss-based pharmaceutical and life sciences companies,” said Andreas Rauch, Ritter Medical’s Key Account Manager for Southern Europe, Latin America, Near and Middle East.

Life sciences applications

“Basel is a leading cluster for the life sciences industry with more than 12,000 people working in pharmaceutical, biotech and medical research in and around the city, with high dependence on liquid handling and robotic handling applications,” Mr. Rauch pointed out.

“This community will be very interested to see how we can offer world-class levels of liquid handling and sample dispensing precision and quality at industry-leading prices,” he added.

Mr. Rauch will be joined on the stand by Milian’s Directeur général, Mickaël Rumiano.

The ILMAC Conference is Switzerland’s only trade fair competence in process and laboratory technology.

ILMAC 2016 is a four-day event opening September 20 at Messe Basel. The event is held every third year to coincide with the annual Basel Life Science week and MipTec fair. Founded in 1959, this is the 20th ILMAC Conference.

ILMAC 2016 will be presenting laboratory and process technology in all its different facets, featuring some 400 exhibitors across an exhibition space of some 25,000 m². The previous event, in 2013, attracted more than 12,000 visitors.
