Particle Analytical showing new characterization and solid form capabilities at BOS 2018 Basel

Hørsholm, Denmark: – Particle Analytical (PA), the Danish-based CRO that specializes in analyzing particle properties, is headed for the new Biotech Outsourcing Strategies meeting (BOS 2018)in Basel, Switzerland.

PA will use the meeting to showcase its growing capabilities in particle characterization and solid form studies, opening up new collaboration opportunities in outsourcing of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) processes and drug discovery.

Particle Analytical recently significantly increased its capabilities to add value to APIs and early phase medicines by acquiring dynamic vapor sorption technology, with photo documentation of analyses that allows it to investigate polymorphism and hygroscopicity in greater detail.

Solid form and characterization

Particle Analytical CEO, Søren Lund Kristensen will lead the company’s presence at the BOS meeting, accompanied by Global Technical Specialist, Dr. Dhara Raijada.

Both will be available for face to face meetings at the conference.

About BOS 2018

The Bio2Business Biotech Outsourcing Strategies 2018 meeting is a newly amalgamated partnering event for both stakeholders of CMC outsourcing and pharmaceutical discovery outsourcing.

BOS 2018 will comprise the existing Bio2Business CMC-focused event with a new discovery outsourcing component, creating an enlarged two-day conference, opening June 19 at one of Switzerland’s most modern convention centers, the Congress Center Basel.

Organizers hope the new format will provide discovery and development teams with opportunities to come together to share experience and knowledge from discovery into development.

The conference will feature Dr Brian Cox, Professor of Chemistry at University of Sussex, as keynote speaker and will comprise two modules, CMC Outsourcing and Discovery Outsourcing, both comprising numerous tracks.

The meeting also features a co-located exhibition attendee by leading international CROs and CMOs.
