MEDELPHARM to present STYL’One compaction simulation at Making Pharmaceuticals Ireland

Beynost, France: – Research-based manufacturer and powder compaction specialists MEDELPHARM will showcase advanced tablet formulation possibilities offered by its STYL’One Nano benchtop research press platform at the upcoming Making Pharmaceuticals Ireland event in Dublin.

The shared KORSCH MEDELPHARM stand at Booth 126 in the Dublin RDS center will showcase the STYL’One Nano benchtop compaction simulator, with demonstrations of its impressive range of capabilities, using BASF Kollitab DC 87 L ready-to-use excipient for direct compression.

MEDELPHARM will also contribute to the Conference stream, with a presentation from senior formulation scientist Dr. Delphine Ach-Hubert on ‘STYL’One Evo: from excipients/API characterization to scale-up support’ as part of Conference Track A on the morning of Day Two of the conference (Wednesday, September 28, 0930 hrs.)

Dr. Ach-Hubert’s presentation will show how the STYL’One operated in compaction simulation mode offers the capability to replicate tablet compression parameters from first development through to production scale while using minimal material quantities. She will focus on the fundamentals of compaction simulator design and present several case studies around material characterization, formulation development, scale-up and troubleshooting of tablet defects.

MEDELPHARM will also be represented at Making Pharmaceuticals Ireland by Spencer Mitchell, its Area Sales Manager for Ireland, UK and Scandinavia.
