MEDELPHARM host 5th STYL’One User Group Meeting

Beynost, France: – Research-based manufacturer and powder compaction specialists MEDELPHARM are inviting some 100 of its worldwide compaction simulation instrument users to its STYL’One User Group Meetings in Lyon in September 2023.

The three-day knowledge-sharing seminar and networking event, opening September 19, will include presentations from compaction and tableting scientists and technical experts from around the world.

Sharing best practice

The meeting will also provide practitioners and researchers with opportunities to learn best practice techniques from other scientists & operators, engage one-to-one with MEDELPHARM technical experts.

They will receive a short demo of the STYL’One Nano and will have the opportunity to discover the latest STYL’One DRYCON® contained.

The whole event is focused on enabling participants to extract maximum potential from their STYL’One Evo and Nano instruments and keeping abreast of the latest innovations in compaction technology.

Compaction simulation leader

MEDELPHARM Director of Communications Ingrid Coyle commented: “This will also be a great chance to take advantage of strategic networking opportunities while enjoying French Cuisine in late summer ambience.”

The STYL’One User Group is an event to share best practices, increase the competence of STYL’One users and allow them to get the most of their machines and data acquisition software,” she added.

Biennial event

MEDELPHARM first established the biennial STYL’One User Group series in 2009 with a meeting at the LJMU University in Liverpool, followed by a 2011 meeting at the Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Paris-Sud, a 2014 networking dinner in San Diego, USA, and most recently in 2017 a theory seminar at the prestige Fourvière Hotel in Lyon, combined with hands-on workshops at the nearby MEDELPHARM facilities in Beynost.

A planned 2020 edition linked to the inauguration of MEDELPHARM’s new laboratories in Lyon had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and so the 2023 User Group Meeting will be hosted there.
