Bernhardt bringing expanded pouch range to CPhI Frankfurt

Wimille, France: – Bernhardt, the French-based world leader in high barrier bags will return to the landmark CPhI Worldwide show in Frankfurt with an enhanced range of flexible packaging solutions, including a new range of stand up pouches for liquid products and open-mouth bags.

Once again, Bernhardt will be a leading presence within PMEC pharmaceutical equipment, machinery and technology zone, exhibiting at Booth 40J41 at Messe, Frankfurt.

Flexible pouch demand

“This is our eighth successive showing at CPhI Worldwide, which provides us with one of the world’s most impressive platforms to reach out to pharmaceutical companies who are increasingly embracing flexible hi-tech packaging solutions for sensitive products, including excipients and APIs,” said Bernhardt Sales Director, Jeremie Dalle.

“We will be reinforcing our leading position in this sector with a really impressive range of film and foil based packaging machinery and packing solutions, including our revised range of stand up pouches,” said Mr. Dalle.

Bernhardt has recently expanded manufacturing capacity at its Wimille facility near Boulogne, adding two new production lines to meet rising remand for its freestanding liquid pouches.

The new range features sealing shapes and strong foils that provide very high barrier protection and impact resistance, as well as enhanced side gusset design. They are available in a wide variety of foils and fitments designs to suit every application, including aseptic filling.

“These pouches offer decisive advantages for purchasing, production and packaging decision makers, including greater space efficiency, easier handling, less wastage, and continuous sealing,” Mr. Dalle pointed out.

Bernhardt provides a wide range of pouches and bags for liquids and solids, ranging in sized from 0.5 liters to 2000 liters that are used across a very wide range of pharmaceutical and other industrial applications.
