Ennigerloh, Germany The influential interpack 2026 trade show in Düsseldorf provided a highly successful event for world-leading pharma process systems builder L.B. Bohle.

A well-attended stand featuring an impressive machine line-up was combined with highly positive industry feedback and a very healthy business outlook, despite current geopolitical turbulence.

Comprehensive display

The 514 m2 area L.B. Bohle stand In Hall 16 of the Düsseldorf Messe expo center featured eight of its systems on display or demonstration, with a world premier for the latest iteration of the innovative PM 1000 container blender with its highly integrated design for enhanced user convenience and functionality, and even more compact footprint with reduced energy consumption.

The selection of machines on display reflected the entire L.B. Bohle process portfolio, also including the revolutionary QbCon® 1 continuous granulation and drying system, BFS 240 Fluidized Bed System, BRC 25 Dry Granulator, BFC 5 laboratory tablet coater and BTS 200 pharmaceutical sieving machine. Other systems on display included the BTS 200 Conical Sieve. BTM 150 Hammer Mill, and HS 500 SL Lifting Column.

Productive discussions

The strong L.B. Bohle on-stand team included Head of Marketing Tobias Borgers, Head of Sales Burkhard Schmidt, and Executive Director Sales Tim Remmert, who said that the stand’s tried-and-tested two-level design and well-established communication and catering concepts had created the ideal space for in-depth discussions with international visitors about the exhibits and technologies.

L.B. Bohle was able to tell its many visitors at the interpack show that despite turbulence in several regions, global demand from the pharmaceutical industry remains stable, with a strong order book, that will use its entire production capacity throughout the remainder of this year.

Impressive Exhibits

“We showcased a comprehensive range from our portfolio with a total of eight machines for wet and dry granulation, grinding and screening, mixing, tablet coating, and product handling. The BFS 240 Fluidized Bed System was particularly eye-catching,” Tim Remmert noted.

“Our best-selling PM Container Blender was presented at interpack as a world premiere, featuring a new design and technical optimizations. These container mixers are used in production facilities worldwide. We are confident that this new generation will also find its way into numerous production lines,” said Mr. Remmert.

Solid Foundation amid Uncertainty

He said that following record sales of around 80 million euros in 2025, the company anticipates further growth in 2026 due to the robust order backlog.

“We also expect growth in the current fiscal year, as the robust order backlog guarantees full production through the end of 2026,” reports Tim Remmert. He noted, however, that current market developments are marked by uncertainty, reluctance to invest, tariffs, and wars in Ukraine and Iran.

“Business in Asia, especially in India, has been encouraging recently. But the war in Iran and the disrupted supply chain in the Strait of Hormuz have created significant uncertainty in the region,” Remmert explains.

Nevertheless, feedback from interpack 2026 confirmed that the pharmaceutical industry remains essentially stable, raising hopes that pharma manufacturers will not be affected too greatly.
