L.B. Bohle Puts QbCon® 1 Continuous Granulation Centre Stage at CPHI Milan 2026

Visitors to the stand will get a close look at the QbCon® 1, L.B. Bohle’s continuous granulation and drying platform, alongside a broader showcase of the company’s expertise across Tablet Coating, Wet and Dry Granulation, Blending, and Containment.

Continuous Manufacturing Takes Centre Stage

The QbCon® 1 is a laboratory-scale system purpose-built for continuous wet granulation and drying at the lowest throughputs, from 0.5 to 2.5 kg/h, making it particularly suited to research and development work and reliable scale-up into full production. The platform combines a patented fluidised bed dryer with a narrow residence time distribution, allowing uniform, reproducible granule drying regardless of particle size, while also making it easier to reject faulty product in a targeted way and to trace finished tablets back to their starting materials.

Alongside its technical performance, the QbCon® 1 is designed for convenient day-to-day use, with fully automatic filter cleaning during the drying process and straightforward handling and cleaning between runs.

A Broader OSD Toolkit on Display

Beyond Continuous Manufacturing, the L.B. Bohle stand will highlight the company’s wider capabilities across oral solid dose (OSD) production, with dedicated focus on Tablet Coating, Wet and Dry Granulation, Blending, and Containment. G.B. Gnudi Bruno, founded in 1965, represents L.B. Bohle’s pharmaceutical powder processing technology in Italy, and the joint stand gives visitors the chance to explore both individual process steps and fully integrated production lines.
