Berlin: – The Molnár-Institute for Applied Chromatography (Molnár-Institute) will be a prominent presence at the upcoming annual meeting of the Hungarian Biochemical Society, HBS 2024, in Budapest. As a Gold Sponsor of the event, Molnár-Institute is proud to support this gathering, which will be hosted on the campus of Eötvös Loránd University—one of Hungary’s leading research institutions.

    MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE representation

The Berlin-based Molnár-Institute, a leader in software modeling for liquid chromatography through its DryLab platform, will be represented at the conference by President Dr. Imre Molnár and his colleague Arnold Zöldhegyi. They will engage in discussions on the latest trends and innovations in chromatographic analysis of chemical reactions and substance characterization. Additionally, they will share insights into the newest applications of DryLab® 4, particularly in developing strategies to enhance column selectivity and in explaining the principles and benefits of Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) approaches.

    About MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE

Founded in 1981, Molnár-Institute develops DryLab®4, a software for UHPLC modelling for a world-wide market. Its powerful modules gradient editor, peak tracking, automation, robustness and Design Space Comparison allow for the most sophisticated method development as required across modern pharma industries. Analytical scientists use DryLab®4 to understand chromatographic interactions, to reduce analysis time, to increase robustness, and to conform to Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) principles, according to the recently published ICH Q14 regulatory framework.

The Molnár-Institute is a registered partner of the US-FDA, CDC and many other regulatory bodies. DryLab®4 pioneered AQbD long before regulatory agencies across the world encouraged such submissions. Widely implemented by thought leaders, the software contributes substantially to the paradigm shift towards a science and risk driven perspective on HPLC Quality Control and Assurance.

    About HBS 2024

The Hungarian Biochemical Society (Magyar Biokémiai Egyesület – MBKE) was founded in 1981 as the merger of the Hungarian Biochemical Association and the Biochemistry section of the Hungarian Chemical Society. In the same year HBS became a member of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).

The Society’ aim is to promote the activity of Hungarian biochemists, molecular biologists and biotechnologists through non-governmental measures, thereby to support the development of biochemical sciences and their ramifications, as regards research, education and application.

Its 2024 Annual Meeting will be a three-day event opening August 29, 2024, at the Campus of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.

The English-language scientific program will include discussion of lipids and membranes, genomics, bioinformatics and biotechnology, molecular signaling, gene expression, proteins, and translational research in medicinal biochemistry.

The Event is organized by Diamond Congress Ltd. with further information at: https://www.hbs-conference.hu/2024/
