March 20th 2026

Berlin – The MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE for Applied Chromatography is returning to Munich’s Analytica trade fair for laboratory processes with significant news: a major expansion of the application scope of its industry-leading DryLab®4 liquid chromatography automation and advanced modelling software.

The MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE stand will again be found under the banner “DryLab® – Right First Time. Every Time.” at Booth A1/234, Hall A, at the Messe München exhibition center. A key highlight of the stand presentations will be the recently launched new version of the DryLab® Automation Module, which operates on the Agilent OpenLab CDS chromatography data platform, in addition to Waters Empower CDS.

Extended DryLab® benefits

This extension enables Agilent users to benefit from the full DryLab® Automation functionality, including hands-off creation of sample-set methods and automated acquisition of all DryLab® model calibration and subsequent verification experiments within both Empower and OpenLab. In addition, the module allows processed results (chromatograms) and key peak information – including peak names, shape and mass data – to be retrieved directly from either platform’s CDS database, eliminating the need for manual export steps.

As a result, Agilent OpenLab CDS customers gain direct integration of the full DryLab® analytical software feature set, delivering measurable benefits such as faster modeling turnaround for model-based analytical procedure assessment, elimination of manual data-transfer errors, improved reproducibility, and seamless network integration.

Live demonstrations

At the MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE stand in Munich, the team – led by President Dr. Imre Molnár – will present live demonstrations of the DryLab® Automation Module, showcasing automated analysis and visualization across multiple stages of the AQbD-based liquid chromatography workflow.

The demonstrations will also illustrate how a more robust approach can be achieved using Analytical Design Space Modelling principles to design new LC methods suitable for a broad range of applications, including separations of small molecules, large molecules, and biomolecules.

About Molnar-Institute

Founded in 1981, The MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE develops DryLab®4, a software for UHPLC modelling for a world-wide market. Its powerful modules gradient editor, peak tracking, automation, robustness and Design Space Comparison allow for the most sophisticated method development as required across modern pharma industries. Analytical scientists use DryLab®4 to understand chromatographic interactions, to reduce analysis time, to increase robustness, and to conform to Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) principles, according to the recently published ICH Q14 regulatory framework.

The MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE is a registered partner of the US-FDA, CDC and many other regulatory bodies. DryLab®4 pioneered AQbD long before regulatory agencies across the world encouraged such submissions. Widely implemented by thought leaders, the software contributes substantially to the paradigm shift towards a science and risk driven perspective on HPLC Quality Control and Assurance.

About analytica 2026

The 30th International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology and Analytica – analytica 2026 – is one of the world’s leading events for state-of-the-art laboratory technology and biotechnology. This biennial trade fair and conference covers laboratory processes and technologies in exceptional breadth and depth.

Analytica 2026 is a four-day event opening on March 24, 2026, at the Messe München exhibition center, where it has been held every two years since 1968. Organizers are projecting more than 30,000 visitors and nearly 1,100 exhibitors, with approximately half of attendees and exhibitors coming from outside Germany. As in 2024, Analytica will again be co-located with Ceramitec, the world’s leading trade fair for the ceramics industry.

The event also includes the Analytica Conference at the nearby International Congress Center, attracting approximately 1,600 delegates and featuring more than 300 lectures and speakers over three days. The supporting program includes the Analytica Forum, Finance Day, Job Day, the Analytica Research Award, and Live Labs demonstration sessions.

The event is organized by Messe München International (MMI). with more information at: https://www.analytica.de/en/
