L.B. Bohle Showcases Innovative Machines and Processes for OSD, Food, and Nutraceutical Production at PACKEXPO 2025

Ennigerloh, Germany: – Highly respected builder of advanced systems for pharma production, L.B. Bohle, will present a range of world-leading solutions for OSD, food, and nutraceutical production at the premier trade fair for the packaging and processing industries, PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025.

Exhibiting under the banner of its US subsidiary, L.B. Bohle, LLC, the company’s stand at Booth N-5648 will form part of the Healthcare Packaging Pavilion in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Stand displays will feature a selection of its leading edge process platforms, renowned for their German engineering and technical sophistication.

Versatile blending solution

One of the machines on display will be the innovative LM 40 mobile laboratory blender that offers a laboratory-scale blending solution suitable for trials or small-batch production up to 35 litres, under real conditions, with straightforward scale-up to large-scale production.

The unit offers a high degree of operator protection but is fully mobile on locking casters, with containers moved on a separate trolley and easily exchangeable without the need for complex handling systems. It can also feature integrated NIR digital recognition as an option.

Particle sizing excellence

Another highlight will be the BTS 200 Sieving Machine for lump breaking and particle sizing that offers high wet or dry granulation versatility thanks to its innovative impeller mechanism and sieve design.

The BTS 200 can handle production at up to three metric tons per hour with all operations managed through its intuitive 7-inch touch panel control screen, including user management, recipe management, and PDF batch printing via USB interface.

Tablet coating at its best

The stand will also showcase the latest technology for tablet coating. The BFC 50 Film Coater Drum offers the optimal combination of spraying, blending and drying. Its drum geometry, helical baffles and advanced airflow management ensure the best possible results for tablet coating.

Together these all but eliminate tablet twinning and risk of spray-drying in the suspension, improving coating structure and keeping solid and coating material losses very low.
