L.B. Bohle presenting series of launches at Interpack 2023 Düsseldorf

Ennigerloh, Germany: -World-respected builder of advanced systems for pharma production, L.B. Bohle, will premiere at least four ‘world firsts’ at May’s Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany, one of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical machinery trade shows.

The adjoining L.B. Bohle and Korsch AG stand at Booths B71 and A72 in Hall 16 of Messe Düsseldorf will form the launchpad for a series of L.B. Bohle product launches.

Four World Firsts

At Interpack, L.B. Bohle presents four world premieres to the trade public: new versions of the BFC 400 tablet coater and BRC 100 dry granulator, a new space-saving lifting column, and the ground-breaking QBCon® 1 truly continuous dry granulator and dryer for CM.

The QbCon® 1 offers an optimal entry-level system for continuous production. The truly continuous wet granulator and dryer for research and development guarantees an increase in product quality while at the same time increasing flexibility and operator safety. In addition, costs are saved through the reduced use of resources and development cycles are shortened through the use of process analysis. Unlike competing systems, QbCon® 1 enables a permanent, truly continuous process without the formation of sub-batches and clogged filters.

Innovation and Improvement

All new machines are based on intensive customer consultation and feedback aimed at identifying areas for further improvement to extend their technological leadership. Examples include design improvements to the BFC tablet coater, optimizing hygienic design, ergonomics, operator safety and usability as well as reconfigured operating system to include a new energy monitoring system to meet sustainability demands .

The BRC dry granulator, with its industry-leading electromechanical drive system, will now incorporate a WIP (Wash in Place) system as standard to ensure effective and complete cleaning. The BRC can be assembled and disassembled in less than 10 minutes with virtually no tools required. A flexible screen system allows the use of a conical or oscillating screen.

Thanks to the modularity of L.B. Bohle’s extensive product range, the BRC can be easily integrated into interlinked plants or continuous production systems.

These new additions are also the result of an intensive design exercise involving almost every department and discipline to optimize form with function to ensure L.B. Bohle machines stand out from the crowd visually as well as technologically.
