Entering the Metaverse with the Bachem 360 Virtual Reality showroom
Bubendorf, Switzerland: – Leading CDMO Bachem is setting new pharma industry standards for communications with its advanced Bachem 360 ‘virtual showroom’ web portal.
First launched in May 2022, Bachem 360 now provides a fully functional virtual digital environment that allows customers and visitors to explore a whole world of company expertise, products, technologies, processes, news and events.
Industry-leading digital customer experience
The Bachem 360 innovation represents a vivid example of how the Swiss-based company has been transforming its communication over recent years. In particular it builds on the experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic that highlighted needs for innovation and continuous development as keys to maintaining and enhancing communication and engagement with stakeholders.
With an innovative digital design loosely based on Bachem’s actual headquarters building at Bubendorf, the new virtual showroom delivers needs-oriented content leading the audience through all relevant business segments to the information needed, provided in easily digestible bite-size knowledge pieces.
Once inside the showroom, the visitor can navigate to various rooms with information on different products and services.
Live area for webinars
The highlight of Bachem 360 is the Live Area, where visitors can access all previous and upcoming webinars. The live area is prominently placed on the ground level and draws attention to the futuristic LED wall hosting the live webinars. This combination of live and on-demand content extends the customer journey around Bachem webinars with additional information, direct interaction, and more.
Further improvements from the development pipeline are currently in progress. These upgrades will include new and engaging features that allow for more direct real-time interaction as well as additional new areas to create an increasingly realistic virtual world of Bachem.
New ways of connecting
“Our main goal with this project was to use new intuitive ways to connect with our partners and customers and serve them the quality information they need on a personal level. With the help of a cross-functional evaluation board including marketing, sales, BD, and customer excellence, we developed Bachem 360 based on customer needs, experience, knowledge, and feedback,” commented Nikki Parsons, Director Digital & Event Marketing at Bachem AG.
