Charles Ischi P-Series Semi-Automated Tablet Testers

The P-Series Semi Automated tablet testing system measures tablet hardness with up to four more additional parameter test functions.  The device has a compact footprint, combined with high quality and precision, easy clean design and adaptability to a full 21CFR part11 compliant testing regime.

P-Series Tablet Testing Features

The P-Series tablet tester models are designed to bridge the gap between manual tablet testing and fully automated tablet testing, with respect to both technology and price, to provide a space and cost efficient semi-automated multi-check solution for oral solid dosage R&D & QC labs in pharma and nutraceuticals.

The range comprises the P3, P4 and P5 series, respectively testing batches of 20 tablets for three, four or five tablet parameters, scaling up from basic hardness, thickness and diameter, to add weight (P4) and length and width measurements in the P5 series.

Features for precise and reliable positioning of tablets:

• VibrAlign System: allows precise positioning of tablets for length, width and hardness testing.
• RotoSystem: allows users to choose between three different surfaces (flat, light groove and deep groove) to accommodate different tablet shapes.

21CFR part11 compliance

The P-Series design also focuses on ease of handling, 21CFR part11 compliance without the need for external PC software and ease of data export.

In the basic P3 version a password protected user management system is included, with additional availability of optional Kraemer Electronik license with audit trail to fulfil all 21CFR part11 requirements.

In line with other Kraemer Labline testing platforms, the P-Series can be range extended with a 50N load cells for soft tablets and a 800N load cell for particularly hard tablets.
