Brevetti Angela introduces DUO™ revolution to Indian market at CPHI New Delhi

Vicenza, Italy: Brevetti Angela, the leading manufacturer of high-technology Blow-Fill-Seal pharma packaging solutions, will introduce its revolutionary DUO™ BFS platform to the huge South Asian pharma market when it returns to the PMEC pharma machinery exhibition, part of the CPHI India 2024 pharmaceutical and ingredients expo.

Brevetti Angela will again exhibit under the banner of its long-established Indian partner Brio Pharma Technologies from Booth C39 in Hall 10 of the India Expo Centre, at Greater Noida, Delhi. The centerpiece of its stand display will be the DUO™ as the latest addition to its SYFPAC® range of BFS machines.

Decisive DUO advantages

The DUO™ is revolutionary among BFS machines in combining the isolation of closed parison with the versatility of easy insertion previously associated only with shuttle systems. This gives it decisive advantages for the aseptic filling of small-volume parenterals, when combined with its capability to handle ‘cold production’ for vaccines and other temperature-sensitive products.

Recently unveiled to Europe at CPHI Milan and for North America at PACKEXPO in Chicago, the highly modular SYFPAC® DUO™ also offers a very compact clean room footprint of only 6m2 and exceptional ease in scaling up production rates, which can be upgraded up to 10 times with no change in the machine dimensions.

Innovative design and advanced capabilities allow Brevetti Angela to bill DUO™ as the ‘Fastest, Smallest, and Safest Blow Fill Seal machine’ on the market and an ideal solution for India’s producers of vaccines, injectables, eye drops, biologicals, inhalation devices, small volume parenterals, and highly potent/toxic formulations needing BSL level 4 isolation.

Wide range of applications

The Brevetti Angela PMEC display will also include the physical samples of the wide range of large and small volume parenteral bottles and vials that can be aseptically manufactured and filled by its patented SYFPAC® machines, along with the highly innovative prefilled syringes developed by sister company 3CK that can also now be produced in BFS using DUO™.

The stand team will include Brevetti Angela’s Sales, Marketing and R&D director, Engineer Rajeev Kabbur, a native Hindi speaker with deep technical knowledge of every aspect of BFS technology and the DUO™ design.
