SYFPAC® DUO’s Closed Parison Aseptic Advantage

For 2026, Brevetti Angela Technical Sales Manager Massimo Consolaro will address the conference with a presentation titled “Next Generation Closed Parison Technology,” bringing the SYFPAC® DUO platform to the BFS IOA’s American meeting audience.

The presentation will focus on how SYFPAC® DUO delivers the aseptic sterility long associated with closed parison Blow-Fill-Seal manufacturing, while removing the complexity and long changeover times that have traditionally limited the format. By keeping the parison closed and shielded from the external environment throughout the process, the platform maintains full aseptic containment while allowing quick mould changes, flexible use of different polymers on the same tooling, and the addition of inserts for high-speed, high-safety production of prefilled syringes and other special medical devices.

A further advance is the SYFPAC® DUO’s state-of-the-art operating system, which introduces continuous, real-time particle monitoring inside the closed parison itself. Being able to measure viable and total particles within a closed parison environment allows the platform not only to meet but to exceed the aseptic manufacturing expectations set out in EU GMP Annex 1 – a standard increasingly referenced by regulators and operators across the American market too.
