    Bachem returns as sponsor to AsiaTIDES, Tokyo

    Bubendorf, Switzerland: –Peptide technology specialist Bachem AG will be a leading presence at this year’s AsiaTIDES oligonucleotide and peptide therapies symposium in Tokyo.

    Once again, Bachem is a sponsor of the event, which will allow it to present its world-leading ‘Pioneering Partner for Peptides’ capabilities and product ranges , as well as its peptide synthesis technologies to Asian audiences.

    High visibility

    The Bachem stand (Booth 20) will be highly visible near the main entrance into the Exhibit Hall at Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel and will showcase its extensive manufacturing capabilities of peptide-based APIs and research and production-focused custom synthesis services for research labs and pharma and biotech industries.

    The stand will also feature latest developments, such as the ISO 13485 certificated production facilities and Bachem’s custom synthesis service catering for milligram up to kilogram scales.

    Linear vs. convergent synthesis

    Dr. Samson (Vice President API SPPS) will deliver a presentation on ‘Linear and Convergent Approaches to Peptide Synthesis – A Comparison from A Manufacturer’s Point of View’ during the afternoon of the final day of the conference. (1345hrs, February 28).

    His talk will compare linear vs. convergent approaches for peptide synthesis, with pros and cons of each approach discussed from the point of view of production efficiencies.
