See Gasporox non-destructive pharma testing solutions at ACHEMA 2024

Lund, Sweden: – Non-destructive testing technology specialist Gasporox AB will show its expanded range of laser sensor package solutions on its return to the upcoming ACHEMA 2024 chemical engineering and process industries expo in Frankfurt-am-Main.

Visitors will again find the Gasporox stand at Booth F18 in Hall 3.1 of the Messe Frankfurt, as part of the Pharmaceutical, Packaging and Storage Techniques exhibition zone. The stand will show a broad range of the innovative company’s inspection and testing sensors and instruments.

Instrument portfolio

Solutions on show will include the GPX1500 Vial O2 and GPX1500 Vial CO2 instruments for testing oxygen or carbon dioxide headspace in pharma vials, the GPX1500 Film Pharma O2 and GPX1500 Film Pharma CO2, for equivalent benchtop tests on pouches and bags and the recently introduced GPX1500 Vial H2O for measuring the headspace pressure in vials.

For manufacturers and packaging companies, Gasporox will also exhibit the VialArch^™ Hurricane inline sensor module with auto-reject system that can easily be fitted to production lines for real time HSA headspace analysis or CCIT container closure inspection at rates of up to ten vials per second.

Demonstrating TDLAS capabilities

The Gasporox team will conduct live demonstrations of GPX1500 vial and soft packaging testing instruments on stand to show how tuneable diode laser assisted spectroscopy (TDLAS) has revolutionized the instant testing of headspace oxygen, carbon dioxide, or water vapor, as well as pressure in vials, ampoules, and bags. They will also demonstrate the capabilities of the VialArch system.

This will be a repeat appearance at the ACHEMA for Gasporox, which made its debut at the 2022 show. Once again, the company is looking forward to meetings at the event, as it continues to expand its European and American partner network.

The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O₂, CO₂, H₂O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags, and cans. These sensors can be integrated into production machines and also form the basis for stand-alone instruments.

Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments for total lab and production testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines.
