Gasporox to showcase non-destructive headspace analysis at PACK EXPO International 2026
Gasporox, the Swedish specialist in laser-based headspace analysis and leak detection, will exhibit at PACK EXPO International 2026, taking place October 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Visitors will find the Gasporox team at Booth W-23102.
From pharmaceutical containers to flexible packaging, the Gasporox team will be in Chicago to discuss how non-destructive testing can support quality control, packaging integrity and process efficiency.
On display: GPX1500 Vial and GPX1500 Film Pharma
On the stand, Gasporox will be showcasing two instruments from its GPX1500 series:
GPX1500 Vial: a compact tabletop instrument for headspace analysis and container closure integrity testing (CCIT) of pharmaceutical containers, including vials, ampoules and prefilled syringes. Available in versions measuring oxygen, carbon dioxide or internal pressure, it is ideal for laboratory and at-line quality control.
GPX1500 Film Pharma: a compact tabletop instrument for non-destructive headspace analysis and CCIT of flexible pharmaceutical packaging, including IV bags, pouches and other flexible packages. It operates parameter-free for reliable, accurate use in both production and the lab.
Both instruments use Gasporox’s laser-based Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology. It measures the gas inside the sealed package without opening or damaging it, so tested samples are not wasted.
Full portfolio for in-line inspection
The Gasporox team will also be available to discuss the company’s broader portfolio of instruments, sensor modules and solutions for integration into production and inspection machines. This includes:
VialArch™: a sensor module for in-line headspace analysis, CCIT and residual oxygen measurement of vials from 2R to 100R, designed for integration into automated inspection machines.
LineArch™: a compact, integration-ready in-line solution enabling up to 100% non-destructive inspection of pharmaceutical containers directly on the production line.
LineArch™ Plus: a full-scale, configurable in-line platform offering flexible multi-sensor headspace analysis and CCIT on the pharmaceutical production line.
Book a meeting before the show

About Gasporox
Gasporox, based in Lund in southern Sweden, develops and manufactures laser-based sensors for integration into in-line inspection and production lines for Headspace Analysis and Leak Detection. Gasporox sensors are also available in various instruments ideal for quality control and at-line inspection of packaging and support many different package formats as highly effective tools for more efficient sample testing and greener production.
The VialArch™ is a unique laser-based solution for vials to be installed on the production line for 100% quality inspection for residual oxygen and container closure integrity testing. The laser beam is passing the headspace of the moving vials to perform laser-based headspace analysis (HSA), non-destructive and with precise measurements of the residual oxygen in the headspace.
The GPX1500 Film Pharma is a compact and easy to use instrument to accurately measure the headspace of pharmaceutical bags and pouches. It’s designed to operate parameter free to have a reliable and accurate use in the pharmaceutical production and lab. The GPX1500 Vial is the Film Pharma’s sibling for rigid containers, like vials and ampoules.
The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O2, CO2, H2O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags. These sensors can be integrated into production machines or form the basis for stand-alone instruments.
Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments for total lab and production testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines.
Gasporox testing technologies are non-destructive and deterministic and recommended by USP<1207>.
