Roquette brings latest formulation solutions to CPhI

Lestrem, France: Leading European expert on polyols and other ingredients, Roquette, will use next month’s landmark CPhI expo in Madrid to exhibit its wide range of solutions that enable customers to ‘simply formulate your wishes’.

The Roquette team on Stand 7F20 in Hall 7 at Madrid’s IFEMA exhibition centre will be showcasing its directly compressible polyols, mannitol compound for ODT, starch polymer for coating, liquid maltitol, betacyclodextrins and dextrose monohydrate for injectable & dialysis solutions.

Excipients and APIs

These include plant-based excipients and APIs; starches and derivatives, sugars and polyols; that have been developed over decades to suit a huge range of customer applications, including direct compression or wet granulation tableting, clinical nutrition and nutraceuticals, syrups and suspensions, molecular encapsulations for solubility and taste-masking, polymer film coating and orally dispersible films, injectables and dialysis solutions and hard capsule filling.

For CPhI 2015, Roquette will place particular focus on Injectable & Dialysis Solutions, featuring its LYCADEX® PF (dextrose monohydrate) useful in preparation of large-volume parenteral solutions and injectable solutions.

Direct compression

Roquette will also highlight its latest polyol-based Direct Compression Solutions, with new grades introduced to meet latest industry requirements. These include new directly-compressible polyols such as SweetPearl® P 300 DC (maltitol), XYLISORB® XTAB (xylitol) and NEOSORB® XTAB (sorbitol), as well as PEARLITOL® Flash (mannitol and starch compound) for orodispersible tablets, offering more pleasant taste and mouthfeel.

Coating

The Roquette stand will further showcase its latest Film Coating Solutions, including the exceptionally inert LYCOAT® film coating polymer and ReadiLYCOAT® ready-to-use coating systems that allow tablets to be coated very quickly and to consistently high standards.

Encapsulation & Liquid solutions

For 2015, Roquette also presents new Encapsulation Solutions based on KLEPTOSE® that range from native to hydroxypropyl cyclodextrins, for use in many dosage forms, from solid to liquid.

For Liquid Solutions, Roquette also offers LYCASIN® (liquid maltitol) as an ideal sugar replacer in oral liquid and oral dosage forms.
