Presenting scalable plate freeze-thaw solution to Leiden Single Use Event

Lohra, Germany – European premium pharma solutions provider HOF Sonderanlagenbau GmbH will return to the Single Use Event biopharma networking conference in The Netherlands with further advanced solutions to present.

This will be HOF Sonderanlagenbau’s fifth appearance at this important event for biopharma processing and technology. Once again, HOF will be an exhibitor from Table 21 at the Corpus Congress Center in Leiden.

Scalable freeze thaw technology

As with last time, HOF Sonderanlagenbau Technical Sales Manager Fabian Plaum will also be a featured speakers at the event, this time presenting the company’s achievement in making freeze-thaw processes more scalable from R&D to production.

Fabian’s presentation ‘From Bench to Bulk: Scalable Plate Freeze‑Thaw Technology’ (10:10-10:25 EDT., Room 1) will form part of the opening session of the single-day conference. It will highlight the need for reliable and predictive lab-scale R&D freeze-thaw solutions to model the freezing and thawing processes performed on much larger production scale units.

This is a gap that HOF has bridged with its new bench-top sized LAB FTU unit that uses plate freeze‑thaw technology. This compact solution can duplicate same temperature range and cooling rates as industrial units, to enable realistic process development, smoother scale‑up, and easier regulator compliance.
