PHCbi ULT Freezers

PHCbi’s Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) freezers offer high security storage of biomedical samples at temperatures as low as -86°C, or down to -150°C for cryogenic storage.

Ultra-cold storage is key to success in many bioscience applications that involve molecules such as proteins that become denatured at normal temperatures. Such samples may be irreplaceable and therefore security of cryogenic storage is a primary concern.

Specialized samples also demand specific environments and temperature ranges.  In contrast with a regular commercial freezer (temperature range -30°C to 0°C), ULT Freezers achieve temperatures of -86°C to -40°C, while cryogenic ULT freezers must offer temperatures down to -150°C. Cryogenic ULT Freezers

PHCbi Cryogenic ULT Freezers are specially designed for temperatures down to -150°C for applications with living cells, such as: tissues and cells in stem cell therapy, blood products, mesenchymal stromal cells for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, tumor samples, artificial insemination, and IVF. The 231-liter MDF-C2156VAN and 128-liter MDF-1156-PE both offer unparalleled safety, reliability and uniform temperatures, incorporating advanced refrigeration technologies, ultra-efficient insulation, and sophisticated alarms and safeguards. Both models use proprietary binary mixed refrigerants to avoid use of environmentally harmful chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

VIP ECO ULT Freezers

VIP ECO ULT Freezers achieve temperatures of -86°C while providing an energy efficient, environmentally friendly ULT storage solution. PHCbi’s ECO lines feature advanced hydrocarbon refrigerant technology to provide energy-efficient and environmentally friendly cold storage equipment options.
