PHCbi IncuSafe incubators – MCO-50 Series
PHCbi has added two new 50 liter cabinets to its range of IncuSafe CO2 and Multigas Incubators that combine advanced technology, unique design features and high-quality engineering to create precise and regulated environments for cell culture.
Providing outstanding performance and flexibility, this innovative range of incubators enables users to replicate in-vivo conditions very closely for optimal results and reproducibility.
Compact and stackable the MC0-50 incubators are ideal for individual cell cultures from patient samples or small scale research projects.
IncuSafe CO2 Incubator – MCO-50AIC-PE
With a compact footprint of 48 x 55cm and 58.5cm height suitable for stacking or under counter installation, the MCO-50AIC-PE CO2 Incubator provides 50 liters of storage volume.
Dual IR sensor precisely controls CO2 concentration whilst the Direct Heat and Air Jacket System ensures accurate, uniform, and highly responsive temperature control within a range of +5℃ above ambient temperature to 50℃.
InCu-saFe germicidal interior and optional SafeCell UV decontamination lamp work in combination to continuously prevent contamination during cell culturing .
The programmable SafeCell UV ultraviolet lamp, isolated from cell cultures, eliminates contaminants in the air-flow and water-pan without affecting cell cultures to inhibit the growth of mycoplasma, bacteria, molds, spores, yeasts and fungi without costly HEPA filters that accumulate contaminants in the chamber air.
It also features a high-speed decontamination system using vaporized hydrogen peroxide (optional) and UV light to clean the chamber of the incubator safely in less than three hours, with no need to remove inner parts, to achieve a minimal six log reduction of major contaminants.
An OLED alphanumeric keypad allows convenient but secure user control with a display of internal conditions, such as CO2 level and temperature. The MCO-50AIC-PE also features front mounted USB port for easy data transfer.
IncuSafe Multigas Incubator – MCO-50M-PE
With identical compact form as the CO2 incubator, the MCO-50M series uses Multigas technology to allow culturing cells at physiological oxygen levels, promoting faster cell growth and longer life, with fewer mutations.
The MCO-5M-PE’s design and specifications are now harmonized with the MCO-170AIC and 230AIC series to deliver the same high quality results from a more compact cabinet.
This includes a unique, solid-state zirconia sensor for precise oxygen control (1-18%; 22- 80%), allowing the MCO-50M Multigas Incubator to reproduce low oxygen concentrations found in many tissues and organs.
It also features a high-speed decontamination system using vaporized hydrogen peroxide (Optional) and UV light to clean the chamber of the incubator safely in less than three hours, without removing inner parts, achieving a minimal six log reduction of major contaminants.
DUAL IR Sensor permits highly accurate CO2 averages and is also not affected by humidity and temperature changes. The elimination of condensation with humidity control bar can further prevent decontamination.
Security and Convenience
Both cabinets offer a range of features optimizing user convenience and sample security. These include:
- Front-mounted USB port for data transfer
- Optional electric door lock with password (standard in models with H2O2 decontamination cycle)
- OLED alphanumeric keypad
- Twin adjustable copper-enriched stainless steel shelves
- Field-reversible doors.
- Can be double or triple stacked
