MOLNÁR-INSTITUTE brings advanced ICH Q14 HPLC method to Praxistag Workshop
Berlin: – The Molnár-Institute for Applied Chromatography will be a leading participant in the upcoming Praxistag HPLC (Practical Day for HPLC) workshop in its home city of Berlin.
Molnár-Institute is a Silver Partner of the hands-on event that provides laboratory employees, laboratory managers and application experts from industry and research with tips and tricks for leading-edge techniques in using high-performance liquid chromatography separation methods in the laboratory.
ICH Q14 insights
The Institute’s Senior Scientist, Dr. Hans-Jürgen Rieger, will present the closing lecture of the workshop, highlighting HPLC method development in the light of the ICH Q14 guidelines that define procedures expected by the authorities to approve compliant analytical methods.
An important aspect of the latest guideline is calculation or modelling of a Method Operable Design Region (MODR) that specifies the ranges of parameters within which the method meets its requirements for Quality by Design (QbD).
Dr. Rieger’s presentation will describe a way of calculating such an MODR for the development of an HPLC method, applying analytical software such as DryLab®4.
About MOLNAR-INSTITUTE
Founded in 1981, Molnár-Institute develops DryLab®4, a software for UHPLC modelling for a world-wide market. Its powerful modules gradient editor, peak tracking, automation, robustness and Design Space Comparison allow for the most sophisticated method development as required across modern pharma industries. Analytical scientists use DryLab®4 to understand chromatographic interactions, to reduce analysis time, to increase robustness, and to conform to Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) principles, according to the recently published ICH Q14 regulatory framework.
The Molnár-Institute is a registered partner of the US-FDA, CDC and many other regulatory bodies. DryLab®4 pioneered AQbD long before regulatory agencies across the world encouraged such submissions. Widely implemented by thought leaders, the software contributes substantially to the paradigm shift towards a science and risk driven perspective on HPLC Quality Control and Assurance.
