MEGGLE presents continuous manufacturing expertise at ExciPerience 2022

Wasserburg, Germany: Pharmaceutical lactose specialist MEGGLE will be a prominent presence as a Silver Partner of the online ExciPerience virtual trade experience in early March 2022.

MEGGLE attended the inaugural ExciPerience event last year as a longtime partner of organisers PharmaExcipients.

Continuous Manufacturing (CM) expertise

As a highlight of the 2022 event, MEGGLE Application Manager Dr. Sonja Bauhuber will host a presentation on direct compression lactose-based excipients as cornerstones in reliable Continuous Manufacturing (CM) processes. This will form part of the Session 2 track between 1500 and 1600 hrs. CET (UTC +1) on the second day of the event, March 10.

Dr. Sonja Bauhuber has recently joined MEGGLE, bringing a strong track record in excipient applications, with a PhD from University of Regensburg in pharmaceutical technology and nine years’ experience in technical support at JRS Pharma serving customers all over the world in their drug development projects. Her extensive background in pharmacy and chemistry and direct experience in formulation of oral solid dosage (OSD) products has made her highly respected as a technical consultant. For MEGGLE, Dr. Bauhuber is a prime contact for pharma companies who need assistance with tableting challenges.

The MEGGLE event virtual booth will also host videos showing different product group excipients for OSD manufacture.

Featured products will include GranuLac® and SorboLac® milled lactose for optimum granulation, four groups of agglomerated, spray-dried, DPI lactose and co-processed excipients optimised for DC applications, and products suitable for CM, including spray dried FlowLac®, and agglomerated Tablettose® that will also be featured in Dr. Bauhuber’s presentation.
