MEGGLE present as sponsor at IPEC Europe 2021 virtual event

Wasserburg, Germany: – Pharmaceutical lactose specialist MEGGLE Wasserburg GmbH (MEGGLE) will be a high profile presence at the upcoming online 9th annual meeting of the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council Europe (IPEC Europe), both as a sponsor and participant.

The event will give MEGGLE an opportunity to share latest knowledge on its very wide range of advanced co-processed and tailored formulations, including its recently introduced InhaLac® 300.

The event is co-hosted by the International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology (APV). As one of Europe’s leading excipients producers, MEGGLE Wasserburg has a long standing relationship with both organizations.

Online booth

IPEC Europe attracts particular groups of professionals working in the excipients field including purchasing, development, manufacture and quality, distribution and sales, supplier qualification, and application and control for medicinal products, along with representatives from regulatory authorities and purchasing departments.

MEGGLE will have a virtual booth at the online event, live streamed over two days from IPEC’s offices in Brussels. The booth will be staffed by an expert team, including Application Manager Dr. Sabine Friedlhuber, who will be able to help with technical queries and guide visitors on MEGGLE’s extensive range of lactose-based excipients.

About IPEC Europe Excipients Conference 2021

Founded in 1992, the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council Europe (IPEC Europe) provides a forum that unites producers, distributors and users of pharmaceutical excipients, with a shared goal to improve excipient quality, safety, and effectiveness.

The 9^th IPEC Europe annual conference will be hosted as a virtual event from the Council’s headquarters in Brussels, with live sessions online between 1300 and 1800 hours over two days, opening on September 22.

The conference will focus on regulatory topics relating to pharmaceutical excipients and technology, including regulation in Europe and emerging countries, latest developments from EDQM and USP as well as an outlook into the role of excipients to the year 2025 and beyond. The conference will also focus on material requirements for continuous manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms, as well as potential impact of 3D printing technology.
