    L.B. Bohle to host workshop on improving material properties

    Ennigerloh, Germany: – World-respected builder of advanced systems for pharma production, L.B. Bohle, is to host a technical seminar comparing dry granulation and twin-screw granulation technologies for oral solid dosage (OSD) formulations.

    The two day workshop will be held March 8-9, 2022, at US subsidiary L.B. Bohle LLC’s headquarters in Warminster, PA. Places are limited but registration is available online (see Resources).

    Live demonstrations

    The workshop will offer theoretical introduction to twin-screw wet granulation and dry granulation technologies for oral solid dosage formulations, followed by practical guidance.

    Techniques will be shown in action, focusing on advanced operating techniques and comparative advantages of two particular L.B. Bohle systems, the BRC roller compactor and QbCon® 1 twin-screw granulator and truly continuous dryer.

    The workshop will feature live demonstrations and trials for both machines

    Optimizing material properties

    The sessions will be hosted by L.B. Bohle LLC Vice-President and General Manager Martin Hack, Sales Manager for Batch & Continuous Processing Systems Mike Fazio, and from Germany, Scientific Operations Manager Dr. Robin Meier. There will also be a presentation from Douglas Hausner of Thermo Fisher.
