Air-cooled freeze-drying

Opening the Day Two session ‘Future Techniques in Freeze-Drying’, Engineer Fabian Plaum from HOF Sonderanlagenbau Sales Management will partner Christian Sonntag, Senior Project Manager from Roche Diagnostics to make a joint presentation ‘Overview and implementation of innovative air-cooling technology for Freeze-Drying Processes’ (September 25, 0900-0925 hrs., Banquet Hall 2).

Their case study-based presentation will show that innovative air-cooling technology not only ensures high production reliability but also enables reduced energy use and carbon footprint.

The HOF event team will also be attending the networking event that closes Day One of the conference.

The 2024 PDA BioManufacturing Conference is part of the Europe Exchange Series staged by the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).

The PDA Biomanufacturing Conference 2023 is a two-day event opening September 24 at the Elite Park Avenue Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The theme for the 2024 conference, Shaping the Future of Biomanufacturing, will explore new technologies including the application of AI, digital twins, development approaches, CMC strategies, and regulatory frameworks, supporting rapid access to vaccines and biotherapeutics from upstream processes to final filling and lyophilization.
