HOF Sonderanlagenbau brings further freeze-drying advances to PFDT 2019 Berlin

Lohra, Germany: Innovative force in high quality tailored lyophilization solutions, HOF Sonderanlagenbau, is returning to this month’s Pharmaceutical Freeze Drying Technology (PFDT) conference in Berlin.

HOF will again be a significant presence at the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) organized event, as one of eight featured exhibitors.

The HOF stand at the Marriott Berlin, themed “Knowledge makes the Difference”, will display its portfolio of highly advanced technologies and custom-tailored solutions for freeze drying, loading and unloading and freeze-thaw processing.

SmartVTS

HOF Sonderanlagenbau Sales Managers Dirk Walbrecht and Peter Schneider will represent the company in Berlin, presenting innovations such as the revolutionary HOF smartVTS vial transfer system that combines robotic handling of vials with the wireless tempris^© sensor system. The robot system uses stoppers equipped with tempris^© temperature sensors for process monitoring in a freely definable position. These stoppered vials can then also be loaded or unloaded in a fully automatic process.

The HOF display will also feature HOF SynchroFreeze, a method for vacuum-induced ice nucleation.

Latest lyophilization developments

HOF Sonderanlagenbau has become an established presence at the PFDT conference, last held in Seville, Spain. .

“The PDA PFDT conference has become a centerpiece of our calendar as one of the most influential events for the freeze-drying sector,” said Dirk Walbrecht.

About PDA PFDT 2019

The Pharmaceutical Freeze Drying Technology conference (PFDT) is part of the Europe Exchange Series staged by the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).

The 2019 conference and co-located exhibition is a two-day event opening September 24 at the Berlin Marriott Hotel, overlooking Potsdamer Platz and just around the corner from historic Checkpoint Charlie.

This year’s conference will form part of the PDA Europe Exchange Series and combine two meetings on Pharmaceutical Freeze Drying Technology and Particles in Injectables.
