Gerteis to show upgraded Mini-PACTOR® at CPHI India

Jona, Switzerland: – Dry granulation expert Gerteis welcomes its post-COVID return to the PMEC pharma machinery exhibition, part of the rebranded annual CPHI India pharmaceutical and ingredients expo in Delhi.

From its own branded stand at Booth C43 in Hall 10 of the India Expo Centre, at Greater Noida, Delhi, Gerteis will show its range of world-renowned roller compaction machines, with particular emphasis on the latest version of the MINI-PACTOR® pilot scale platform, ideal for 10g trials up to maximum output of 100 kg/hr.

Patented Hardness Indicator

The re-engineered MINI-PACTOR® now incorporates Gerteis latest patented Hardness Indicator instrumentation that uses outputs from vibration sensors placed near the internal screen support around the mill. The system is based on research demonstrating an almost linear relationship between the amount of vibration encountered in milling the ribbon and its resulting strength, expressed as bondability and eventual tablet strength.

The MINI-PACTOR® on display in Delhi also features other leading-edge technologies, such as the patented GERTEIS® feeding system, along with augmented software functions for better process control and performance.

India’s PMEC pharmaceutical machinery trade show forms part of the annual CPHI India pharma expo that has become the country’s leading industry event.
