GERTEIS® to demonstrate advanced roller compaction at interpack 2026
Jona, Switzerland – Dry granulation specialist GERTEIS® will showcase its advanced roller compaction technologies at interpack 2026, the leading international trade fair for packaging and processing, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Exhibiting from its customary location at Booth E03 in Hall 16 at Messe Düsseldorf, GERTEIS® will present its portfolio of Swiss-made roller compactors, widely recognized as industry benchmarks for reliability and high performance.
Machines on show
A central highlight of the stand will be a live demonstration of the MINI-PACTOR®, a premium roller compactor designed for development and small-batch production. Using placebo powder, the system will demonstrate its capability to process very small quantities of material with minimal waste.
Also featured will be:
- The MACRO-PACTOR®, GERTEIS®’ flagship system for full-scale production, capable of throughput rates up to 400 kg/h
- The MINI-POLYGRAN® for small batched and pilot-scale applications
- The POLYGRAN® series, engineered for ease of installation and user-friendly operation
All systems incorporate GERTEIS NextGen technology, including advanced control systems, integrated software, and built-in ribbon hardness measurement. This enables real-time monitoring of powder properties as material passes through the company’s distinctive floating-gap roller design.
These capabilities bring Process Analytical Technology (PAT) into roller compaction and are particularly valuable in pharmaceutical development and scale-up, where precise control of granule properties is essential. They also support continuous manufacturing, and high-containment applications where inline measurement is critical.
On-stand expertise
GERTEIS® Vice President Sales & Technology, Hartmut vom Bey, will lead the exhibition team, supported by Sales Engineers Michael Hanisch, Ralph Böniger, and Christoph Schnitzer.
The team will be available throughout the event to provide technical guidance and discuss process optimisation strategies.
Hartmut vom Bey commented:
“Our stand has become a regular destination for visitors to interpack. It’s an event we value highly for the opportunity to showcase our latest innovations and demonstrate what sets our roller compaction technologies apart.”
“Any visitor involved in powder processing will benefit from visiting us, and we look forward to discussing their challenges and requirements,” he added.
