Gerteis returning to POWTECH Nuremberg

Jona, Switzerland: – Dry granulation expert Gerteis is making a return to Germany’s high prestige POWTECH 2016 bulk solids event in Nuremberg to showcase its latest roller compaction solutions.

The Gerteis display at booth 478 in Hall 3A of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center will feature live demonstrations of its latest generation Mini Pactor® that is designed for both R&D and small scale continuous production applications, featuring constant ribbon measurement with no uncompacted fines.

Mini Pactor will be running constantly throughout the show with individual customer demonstrations available.

Michael Gerteis will lead the company’s team at POWTECH to conduct demonstrations and answer technical questions.

This is an event which provides excellent contacts with our core buyer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, focusing on technical excellence in processing granulates and powders,” said Mr. Gerteis.

“This is probably the most important European event we will attend this year and gives us a great platform to share advanced application knowledge and support on granule properties with scientists and technical leaders looking for leading edge compaction technologies that allow easy scale up to continuous manufacturing while maintaining high containment,” Senior Sales Engineer Mr. Hanisch added.

The Gerteis display will also feature video presentations of its key granulation and dry granulation ranges, including the recently introduced Macro-Pactor® with new bespoke design, along with Polygran® and Mini Polygran® solutions that also include the new technical upgrade with HMI package and PLC-based redesign.

About POWTECH 2016

Germany’s POWTECH International Trade Fair for Mechanical Processing Technologies and Instrumentation bills itself as the world’s leading event for processing, analysis and handling of powder, granule and bulk solids technologies. The event is based on an exhibition, supported by high quality program of talks, presentations and networking events.

This year’s POWTECH event will again be a three day event, opening at the Exhibition Center in Nuremberg on April 19. POWTECH 2016 will be co-located with the PARTEC 2016 international forum for research and development in particle technology. This English-language congress, held every three years, brings together scientists and engineers from all over the world to cover topics like particle formation, agglomeration and coating processes and diverse industrial applications.

POWTECH is staged every 18 months. The previous event, in September 2014, was also staged in Nuremberg and featured some 750 exhibitors, attracting more than 16,000 visitors from some 30 countries worldwide.
