Gerteis puts latest Mini-Pactor® on show at P-MEC India

Jona, Switzerland: – Dry granulation expert Gerteis is attracting significant interest in its world-class roller compaction technologies at the P-MEC India Pharmaceutical mechanical equipment show now underway in Delhi.
P-MEC India 2018 opened in NOIDA today as part of the CPhI India Expo in the NCR region of Delhi, shifting from the previous venue in Mumbai.
Gerteis has seen increasing numbers of visitors to its stand at Booth 17 in Hall 10 of the NOIDA exhibition center, including representatives from some of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
Mini-Pactor scale-up capabilities
The Gerteis display is showcasing some of the Swiss-based company’s latest and most advanced roller compactor solutions, such as the new generation Mini-Pactor®. This roller compactor has a multi lingual HMI and uses WINCC as platform which supports international workgroups with different language background.
Mini-Pactor offers containment levels of between OEB3 and OEB4 and satisfies the Wash In Place (WIP) function that is essential to handling highly active ingredients.
This unit is also designed to process the most difficult products in the research and development phase, with capacities that scale up from 10g per trial up to 100kg/h production speeds The wide capacity range enables small production or clinical trials on the same machine.

The two shows bring the highly successful worldwide UBM-organized franchise to one of the world’s biggest single pharma markets, combining two events in one.
CPhI/P-MEC India 2018 is a three-day event that opened December 12 as part of the larger India Pharma Week, running from December 9 to December 15. For 2018, the event moves from Mumbai to the India Expo Center in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.
The combined shows are expected to attract more than 28,000 visitors and some 1,000 exhibitors from almost 100 countries worldwide.
