Gerteis puts latest Mini-Pactor® on show at Interphex Japan
Jona, Switzerland: – Dry granulation expert Gerteis Maschinen + Processengineering AG will return for a fourth year in succession to Japan’s high prestige Interphex Expo in Tokyo to showcase its world-class roller compaction technologies.
Gerteis will be co-exhibiting with Japan’s Estech Corporation Ltd. at Booth E7 in East Hall 4 at Tokyo’s Big Sight Center.
Mini-Pactor individual demonstrations
A central feature of the Gerteis display will be the Asian debut of the company’s recently introduced new generation Mini-Pactor® laboratory R&D and small scale production machine. The version demonstrated in Tokyo will feature a bilingual English/Japanese HMI and advanced Wash-in-Place capabilities.
“We are delighted to be returning to Interphex Tokyo which has become one of our key events for our Asian markets,” said Gerteis Market Manager for Japan, Michael Gerteis, who will be leading the company’s presence at the show along with Hartmut vom Bey, VP for Sales and Technology.
The Mini-Pactor® will be fully operational on stand, with individual demonstrations available on request.
Leading dry granulation technology
“Once again this big event provides us with a great platform from which to address our core customer base of CMO and CRO scientists and technical decision makers looking for faster and more reliable dry granulation technology,” said Hartmut vom Bey.
“We will be able to demonstrate really impressive roller compactor technology for development and continuous manufacturing, along with a near-unrivalled wealth of application knowledge as one of the longest established and most respected names in the field,” Mr. vom Bey added.
Gerteis Maschinen + Processengineering AG is a Swiss-based company that has rapidly established itself as a world leader in the field of premium roller compactors. The company’s products and services cover all aspects of dry granulation processes, with unparalleled experience in this field built up since the company was founded in 1986.
Gerteis manufactures a wide range of high quality containment roller compactors that are versatile enough to process a vast range of powders, even notoriously problematic ones at both laboratory and production scales. The company’s patented technologies are widely used by the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.
Rapidly increasing demand recently forced the company to move from its original site in Jona on the shores of Lake Zurich to larger and purpose designed premises nearby, in a move completed at the end of 2013.
As well as manufacturing machinery, Gerteis offers complete solution packages that help customers increase productivity including support on identifying ideal formulations and in-house training courses on dry granulation processing. Gerteis constantly seeks to expand its knowledge on dry granulation, participating in numerous research collaborations with German universities.
