Gasporox hosting non-destructive CCIT testing demos at INTERPHEX 2024 New York

Lund, Sweden: – Non-destructive testing technology specialist Gasporox AB will return for its third appearance at the high prestige INTERPHEX pharma expo and networking event in New York City as it continues to develop its North American market presence.

The Gasporox stand will once again be at Booth 2668 at the Javits Center in New York City, displaying a range of advanced non-intrusive testing and inspection solutions, including benchtop and in-line testing modules.

Instant CCIT and quality control testing

Gasporox solutions on show will include the GPX1500 Vial O2 and GPX1500 Film Pharma O2 benchtop instant oxygen headspace gas analysis instruments for CCIT Container Closure Integrity Testing of glass and flexible containers, as well as the ground-breaking VialArchÔ in-line inspection module that can easily be added to any packaging line to conduct CCIT and leak detection at up to 600 units per minute.

The GPX1500 Series TDLAS tunable laser-assisted spectroscopy-based instruments will be live demonstrated to show how a highly accurate non-intrusive product quality assessment using oxygen concentrations in container headspace can be obtained in seconds on pharma vials, ampoules, and bags. Similar demos conducted at INTERPHEX last year proved highly successful (see Resources).

The Gasporox on-stand team in New York will be led by North American Area Sales and Product Manager Jean-Philippe Descloux – “INTERPHEX is one of the key events for the North American pharma market and a great platform for us to build our network, gain new leads and develop partnerships,” said Mr. Descloux.

The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O2, CO2, H2O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags. These sensors can be integrated into production machines and also form the basis for stand-alone instruments.

Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs.
