Gasporox brings expanded range of advanced inspection solutions to CHPI Milan

Lund, Sweden: – Non-destructive testing technology specialist Gasporox AB will bring an expanded range of is innovative non-destructive packaging testing solutions to Europe’s leading pharma industry event, the CPHI 2023 trade expo, returning to Milan for 2024.

Gasporox will exhibit from Stand 18C74 as part of the Pharma Machinery and Equipment Zone at the Fiera Milano Congress Center. Its displays will showcase a wide range of advanced quality control solutions based on TDLAS tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. This allows non-intrusive headspace gas analysis for rapid and real-time container closure integrity testing and content verification.

Gasporox has a happy association with the CPHI Worldwide expo, having exhibited at Milan in 2021, at Frankfurt in 2022 and at last year’s show in Barcelona, where it was named winner of the CPHI Pharma Awards Packaging and Machinery category, for its AutoMAP® solution.

Its event team for Milan in 2024 will include Director of Sales & Applications Roland Koch, Area Sales Manager Niklas Bohlin, and Area Sales and Product Manager, Jean-Philippe Descloux. They will be hosting live demonstrations of a wide range of solutions, including the VialArch™ O₂ modular inline oxygen headspace checker and more recently introduced VialArch™ H₂O, which can measure water vapor pressure in lyophilized vials within a range of 50-1000mbar to meet <USP1207> CCCIT standards. Both units can check packaging line outputs at up to 600 units per minute.

Also on demonstration will be the benchtop instruments GPX1500™ Vial CO₂, Vial O₂, Vial H₂O, and Film Pharma O₂ for instant headspace gas analysis of a range of rigid and flexible packages.

All three Gasporox team members will also be available for meetings arranged through the CPHI online platform.

The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O2, CO2, H2O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags. These sensors can be integrated into production machines or form the basis for stand-alone instruments.

Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments for total lab and production testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines.
