Gasporox bringing non-destructive parenteral inspection solutions to A3P International Congress Biarritz
Lund, Sweden: – Non-destructive testing technology specialist Gasporox AB will once again be an exhibitor at the A3P International Congress event in Biarritz, dedicated to clean and sterile pharma production.
Gasporox will exhibit under its own name from Stand O11 in the Espace Bellevue in Biarritz. The stand team will be led by Area Sales and Product Manager Jean-Philippe Descloux.
Annex 1 Agenda
The Gasporox portfolio on display and live demonstration will include technologies and capabilities that are highly relevant to the major 2024 Congress theme of EU Annex 1 compliance in quality assurance and CCIT container closure integrity testing.
These include the VialArch™ in line sensor module for real time testing and the GPX1500 Vial instrument for quality control headspace gas testing of parenteral packages. These are among a suite of Gasporox instruments based on its proprietary advanced TDLAS tuneable diode laser absorption spectroscopy technology.
Non-destructive inspection
The Gasporox team led by Area Sales and Product Manager Jean-Philippe Descloux will use the GPX1500 Vial to conduct live demonstrations of ‘connect and go’ benchtop non-destructive headspace gas analysis CCIT integrity testing of vials and ampoules. They will also show how flame-sealed reference standards can be combined with the GPX1500 Vial for fully compliant QC testing.

The GPX1500 Vial is the Film Pharma’s sibling for rigid containers, like vials and ampoules.
The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O2, CO2, H2O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags. These sensors can be integrated into production machines or form the basis for stand-alone instruments.
Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments for total lab and production testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines.

The 35th A3P International Congress is a three-day event opening October 8, once again at the Espace Bellevue in the French resort city of Biarritz.
Conference themes for 2024 will include the impact of digitalisation and experiences with the EU Annex1 regulatory regime, which will occupy the whole of the Day 3 Program.
