Gasporox bringing non-destructive parenteral inspection solutions to A3P International Congress Biarritz
Lund, Sweden: – Non-destructive testing technology specialist Gasporox AB will show its latest technologies on its return as an exhibitor to the A3P International Congress event in Biarritz, dedicated to clean and sterile pharma production.
The Gasporox stand will again be found at Booth O11 at the Espace Bellevue, showing a range of advanced capabilities highly relevant to core A3P concerns of EU Annex 1 compliance in GMP standards, product quality, and packaging integrity.
Non-destructive vial and ampule testing
A highlight of the stand displays will be the Gasporox GPX1500 series Vial instrument as a benchtop testing solution for rapid and easy non-destructive inspection and testing of vials and ampoules.
This is made possible by Gasporox proprietary Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology that can ‘see’ inside sealed packages to measure gas and moisture levels.
Technology in action
Gasporox will be represented by Area Sales & Product Manager Jean-Philippe Descloux who will be staging live demonstrations of the Vial Tester in action, to emphasise its precision and ease of operation.

The GPX1500 Vial is the Film Pharma’s sibling for rigid containers, like vials and ampoules.
The available Headspace Analysis sensors work with many types of containers like vials, ampoules, bottles, bags and trays and are available for measuring O2, CO2, H2O, or the pressure inside the inspected container and are suitable for Leak Detection on packages like trays, bags. These sensors can be integrated into production machines or form the basis for stand-alone instruments.
Gasporox technology has been proven for performance and robustness over more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry in the testing of parenteral drugs. It is integrated and used in machines, systems and instruments for total lab and production testing of vials and ampoules in many parenteral packaging lines.
