Lindau, Germany: – Laboratory engineering specialist DORNIER LabTech Systems GmbH (DORNIER LTS) will show the latest version of its ground-breaking PIRO® automated pipetting small robot on its return to the combined Labvoluton/Biotechnica trade fair in Hannover.

DORNIER LTS will exhibit on Booth A73 in Hall 19 of the Hannover Exhibition Center. Here, a team led by Head of Sales & Marketing Michael Duchaussoy and PIRO® Product Specialist Florian Glaser will conduct live demonstration of the personal pipetting robot.

Advanced PIRO® applications

“We were here for the first Biotechnica event in 2015. We’re returning because this show provides a great platform to show the PIRO® as the world’s leading personal pipetting robot with its powerful software for all molecular biology related labs,” said Mr. Duchaussoy.

“We will demonstrate various pipetting solutions and also focus on using PIRO® across a range of life science-related laboratory applications such as Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization (MALDI) – Time of Flight (TOF) Mass Spectrometry and High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC),” he explained.

Free PIRO® use for projects

“Our visitors will also have the chance to benefit from a great show offer: the chance to add a PIRO® console free of charge on any new projects started now that will lead to an order within three months,” said Mr. Duchaussoy.

Easy set up and traceability

PIRO® offers hassle-free qPCR setup and liquid level sensing with a simple ‘drag & drop’ interface and guidance within the software and automated supervision of all pipetting steps, working fields and pipetted volumes to provide perfect traceability for all PCR fields in microbiological R&D applications.

“PIRO®’s supervises all pipetting steps and pipetted volumes for perfect traceability of all PCR working fields in research and diagnostic applications, supporting easy export or import of pipetting results to or from LIMS systems or other instruments,” said Mr. Duchaussoy.

“PIRO® provides solutions that are very relevant for potential end users concerned with high end pipetting quality combined with perfect ease of use and with supervision of all pipetting steps and pipetted volumes to provide perfect traceability and reproducibility for all fields in research and diagnostic applications,” he added.
