Dec Group showing advanced filling and mixing solutions on Interpack debut

Ecublens, Switzerland: – Dec Group is making its debut as an exhibitor at Europe’s premier packing and packaging trade show, Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Dec will use the event to promote the leading-edge filling and transfer solutions of its recently formed Filling Solution Technologies (FST) Division that offers an impressive portfolio of primary packing technologies.

Hi-tech filling and blending

The Dec stand at Booth 17B52 in Hall 17 of the giant Messe Düsseldorf exhibition complex will display and demonstrate the DecFill® LAB lab-scale and DecFill® MB micro-batch models that are members of a family of highly accurate,  semi-automated primary packaging solutions for aseptic filling of vials, syringes, bottles and cartridges as well as Dual Chamber Syringes (DCS) and systems.

The Dec stand will also highlight the PTS Batchmixer® blending platform that achieves fully sterile mixing by being fully contained throughout the process with no requirement for disconnection at any stage of the operation. Designed according to the latest cGMP requirements, PTS Batchmixer® has no internal moving parts or inaccessible areas allowing the system to be sanitized or sterilized with either 90°C hot water or steam.

Modular end-to-end solutions

PTS Batchmixer® is usually integrated in a process line in a closed way by flexible lines and can be cleaned and sterilized in line with the upstream and downstream equipment. This is in line with Dec’s highly modular and flexible Powder Transfer System (PTS)-based design approach to materials and liquids handling that means all these platforms and more can form part of an end-to-end manufacturing solution from the material input, to reaction and process to the final product.
