Ecublens, Switzerland: – Dec Continuous Process Ltd is the new name for innovative advanced processing specialist Alconbury Weston Ltd (AWL), marking the UK-based company’s full integration into the Dec Group.

Since its acquisition in 2022, AWL’s distinctive capabilities have greatly strengthened Dec’s leadership in advanced continuous manufacturing and processing solutions. Now, as Dec Continuous Process, there will be closer synergies between its innovative process technologies and Dec Group’s world leading material handling, high containment, packaging and other solutions.

Comprehensive solutions portfolio

This will create even more comprehensive continuous and automated manufacturing solutions for pharma, fine chemicals and other industries, with a combined portfolio now encompassing raw material handling, synthesis, secondary manufacturing, and final packaging.

Based in Stoke‑on‑Trent, UK, Dec Continuous Process has established a strong reputation for its specialized expertise in continuous reaction, crystallization, filtration and drying systems. Its technologies are applied across multiple sectors, including pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, biotechnology, laboratory research and the nutritional industry.

The new company name reflects its strengthened role within the Dec Group as a center of excellence for continuous processing technologies.
