Dec Group showcases DCS® Liquid high containment system for liquids at ILMAC Basel
Ecublens, Switzerland: – Dec Group (Dec) will be a prominent presence at the upcoming ILMAC process and laboratory technology fair in Basel, showing an updated range of powder and liquid transfer and processing solutions with emphasis on high containment.
The Dec Group display at Stand C222 in Hall 1.1 at Messe Basel will feature live demonstrations of its renowned PTS Powder Transfer System® in action, along with the MC DecJet® micronizing jet mills, DCS® Liquid system for handling toxic and corrosive liquids and the new SafeDock docking system for big bag handling.
Safe liquids handling
DCS® Liquid achieves containment levels of < 1 ppb, using a suction lance housed in a special venting tube with a sealing plug. This makes possible the contained emptying and filling of drums without need for protective clothing or airflow booths.
The system can be equipped with load cells for precision dosing and drums can be partially emptied, eliminating the need for inefficient and time-consuming pre-dispensing. It can be used in ATEX zone 2/21 and optionally in zone 1/21 if necessary.
High containment solutions
Dec Group has an established relationship with the event, having previously appeared at the 2018 ILMAC Lausanne fair.

About ILMAC 2019
The ILMAC Conference is Switzerland’s only trade fair competence in process and laboratory technology.
ILMAC 2019 is a four-day event opening September 24 at the Messe showground in Basel. Since 1959, ILMAC has been the sole Swiss industry fair for chemicals and life sciences that depicts all the industrial applications in process and laboratory technology. The companion ILMAC Lausanne fair is held the following year, next scheduled for October 7-8, 2020.
ILMAC 2019 will be presenting laboratory and process technology in all its different facets, featuring some 400 exhibitors across an exhibition space of some 30,000 m2. The previous event, in 2016, attracted more than 12,000 visitors.
