Dec gives star role to new MC Jetmill 150 at INTERPHEX 2016

Ecublens, Switzerland: – Dec Group will be returning to the high prestige INTERPHEX 2016 expo in New York to present its growing global capabilities for powder and bulk handling, process containment and micronizing, highlighting its innovative 4th generation MC Jetmill® equipment.

The latest generation of MC Jetmill® systems has been developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, combining high innovation with enhanced performance: The CFD improved geometry of the grinding chamber enable exceptionally narrow particle size distribution (PSD) around 1 micron (Gaussian curve), even with very sticky, fine and adhesive powders. The newly ring integrated nozzles represent a further improvement of robustness and easy cleaning.

Micronization

US-based MC Jetmill® product manager Patrick Mulvey, will be present on the Dec stand at Booth 2763 at New York’s Javits Center throughout the show to answer technical questions on micronization.

The Dec team will conduct live demonstrations of its world renowned Powder Transfer System (PTS), including new generation Batchmixer for powder blending, and πPTS for Microdosing at between 0.5 mg and 100 grams displayed in a semi-flexible isolator.

The Dec display will also feature the company’s Drum Containment System (DCS) for emptying drums, Continuous Liner System with PTS that can convey and package into continuous liners under high containment.

High containment powder handling

Dec Group will also contribute its insights on state-of-the art Facility Design by showing how its latest technologies and equipment can be integrated into highly advanced and seamless manufacturing and packaging processes.
