The CIM is designed to work in tandem with Dec’s Powderflex^® system to ensure precise dosing of powders in small to medium quantities.

Unique CIM design

The unique CIM inline mixing design concept allows for easy integration with existing tanks or vessels. Its method of operation is also innovative in using centrifugal force to subject powder and liquid streams to intense agitation and turbulence. This ensures powder particles are completely homogenized with the liquid.

CIM offers numerous advantages over batch mixing in tanks and other traditional methods. These include continuous operation, faster mixing times, lower energy consumption, improved product consistency, and simplified maintenance thanks to its compact and user-friendly design.

Overcoming mixing and charging challenges

Dec’s Centrifugal Inline Mixer is particularly suitable for reactor charging applications by offering a cutting-edge solution that allows for the continuous charging of vessels with both powder and liquid substances simultaneously.

To resolve the age-old challenge of dust generation during the charging process, CIM offers a pre-mix option in which powdery substances are fully mixed with the liquid before entering the vessel thus preventing material loss through sticking and clogging of the walls.

Further advantages include reduced need for cleaning and high suitability for process automation.
