Dec brings new era in compact aseptic filling to INTERPHEX 2026

Ecublens, Switzerland: – Dec Group will demonstrate DecFill® XP as a major step forward for aseptic filling when it returns as a prominent exhibitor to New York’s high-prestige INTERPHEX expo.

The Dec-USA Inc. stand will again be found at Booth 2137 at New York City’s Javits Center, displaying a range of its innovative high-tech powder handling and pharma process solutions.

New DecFill® XP in action

A centerpiece display will be the ultra-compact DecFill® XP platform in working demonstration mode to show its revolutionary ability to move sterile primary packaging through the fill finish process, enabled by its innovative levitating transport system with next generation sustainable vials. The magnetically suspended shuttles glide quickly and under precise control to carry vials between closely grouped handling stations to create a highly automated process that combines loading, filling, stoppering, and crimping into one seamless and continuous Unlock Fill Close sequence.

The whole system can be accommodated within a linear footprint of seven meters, around half that required by a conventional line, for higher manufacturing density and lower overhead costs. Meanwhile, the total absence of friction also eliminates particle contamination and reduces energy consumption.

MC DecJet® micronization

Another highlight will be the MC DecJet® spiral jet mill that provides research teams with the perfect tool for micronizing very small quantities of material, down to one fifth of a gram per hour. This standalone system uses its own nitrogen pressure to feed powders at subsonic speeds through a venturi into a cylindrical milling chamber, where particles are accelerated by a series of perimeter jets into a supersonic spiral, achieving micronization through particle collision.

Independent control of grind pressure, feed pressure and feed rate allow very precise PSD particle size distribution and give MC DecJet 30 very high scalability, up to 800 kg/h. A further distinctive feature is the single collection point, ensuring very high batch homogeneity.

PTS on show

Also on display in New York will be the latest version of Dec’s renowned PTS Powder Transfer System®  that combines pressure and vacuum to achieve very complete contained material transfers over distance, moving even wet sticky powders and coarse granules as if they were liquid.

The unique PTS flat filtration concept combined with low velocity and high density makes this the only vacuum dense-phase system available that can be fully sterilized. PTS provides a significant enhancement to any process, accelerating production while providing total containment, hygiene and safety.
