CurTec partners with Univar in Asia

Rijen, Netherlands: – High-performance pharma packaging specialist CurTec international has joined forces with global chemicals and pharmaceuticals services giant Univar Corporation to open up a distribution network to serve Asia.

The new partnership will be seen together at the upcoming CPhI show in Jakarta, where CurTec will share a stand with Univar Singapore.

Univar Singapore will be distributors for CurTec High Performance Packaging across the South East Asia (ASEAN) region.

Raising service levels

“Joining forces with Univar not only means we can increase our market exposure but also raise the level of service to existing customers,” said Marc Martens, MarCom Manager for CurTec International.

CurTec, which celebrates its silver anniversary in 2016, develops, manufactures and distributes High Performance plastic bulk packaging for pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals, while Univar is recognized worldwide for its innovative chemicals, pharma, food, and FMCG products and services.

“CurTec has partnered up with Univar because of their detailed knowledge of the specialty chemicals market, as well as their success and growth over recent years,” said Martens.

Key ASEAN event

“We’ll be exhibiting together at CPhI South East Asia, which has become a key event for the ASEAN market,” Martens added.

“We welcome visitors to our stand and will be very happy to discuss their packaging challenges in detail to discover opportunities to add value to the supply chain. For example, we’ll be able to show how our moisture and shock-resistant containers can play a key role in maintaining tablet integrity and appearance during storage and bulk shipment,” Martens explained.

CurTec ‘s plastic drums also offer superior protection against outside impact, especially when compared metal drums that transmit shock and vibration or fiber drums that can be damaged by forklift tines or softened by water.
