Celebrating success of 3rd MENA BFS seminar in Cairo

Vicenza, Italy: – Leading manufacturer of high technology pharma packaging machinery, Brevetti Angela Srl, is celebrating the success of its third Blow Fill Seal Seminar for the Mideast and North African market in Cairo.

The seminar was organised in collaboration with fellow Italian pharma testing and inspection specialists Bonfiglioli Engineering and local distribution partner MEACO Modern Co.  It has now become a regular annual fixture with the 2025 seminar again hosted as a one-day event on April 29, this time at Cairo’s prestige Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Hotel.

Latest on BFS and Pharma Inspection

The BFS Seminar aims to provide pharma production and packaging professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with a comprehensive briefing on latest developments in Brevetti Angela’s distinctive Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) technologies, including its SYFPAC^® aseptic filling and aseptic packaging platforms, as well as Bonfiglioli’s sophisticated non-destructive CCIT container closure integrity and headspace testing solutions.

For 2025, the star of the Brevetti Angela presentations was its revolutionary SYFPAC^® DUO platform, whose modular design, scalability, and unique closed parison insertions extend Blow-Fill-Seal production into new areas.

SYFPAC® DUO takes center stage

Presentations on SYFPAC® DUO opened both sessions of the seminar with MEACO head Eng. Eman Latif revealing the first SYFPAC® DUO machine to arrive in Egypt, to be installed at the facility of an existing customer already operating a SYFPAC® system, one of five currently operating at different Egyptian plants, producing Small Volume Parenteral injectables, eye droppers, etc., and Large Volume Parenteral IV bottles.

Being able to get a full insight on the new system, the seminar audience was able to take in its ultra compact dimensions and the practical advantages of its clever engineering, which for the first time combines the containment and aseptic sterility of the closed parison technology with the possibility to detect both viable and non-viable particles in the closed system, which not only meets but also exceeds GMP EU Annex1 requirements. The audience was also interested in the flexibility in production that comes from being able to add inserts at will so that different kinds of prefilled syringes and medical devices are produced on BFS, and in the general ease of use of the system that allows changes and settings at the touch of a screen.

Brevetti Angela presentations were delivered by Technical Sales experts Massimo Consolaro and Ajay Kabbur who were able to answer many technical questions during the late lunch that closed the Seminar.
