BEA successfully presents VALEX-POTENT encapsulated filters at HPMC 2023 Milan
Milan, Italy: – Filtration specialist BEA Technologies (BEA) has presented its innovative VALEX.POTENT capsule filter range at the upcoming 8th High Potent Medicines Conference (HPMC 2023) in Milan.
BEA’s display area in the exhibition zone at the Duo Milan Porta Nuova hotel presented its latest hi-tech filtration and nano filtration solutions for pharma manufacturing, with the VALEX-POTENT encapsulated filtration system particularly relevant in manufacturing of HPAPI high potency substances.

BEA was a high profile presence in Milan as a sponsor of the forum and with a strong event team led by Marco Pandolfi, Sales Manager of its Pharma Filtration Group.
The team presented VALEX-POTENT filters as a valuable aid in keeping occupational exposure limits within guideline when working with HPAPIs.
The range of encapsulated filters offers single use and double containment solutions that are purpose designed for specific filtrations of critical or hazardous substances and for the purification of HPAPIs used in pharmaceutical processes.

The High Potent Medicines Conference focused on the development, rapid scaling, validation and commercial production of Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (HPAPI) drug substances, as well as integrated containment requirements for particle engineering and drug product.
The 8th Annual High Potent Medicines Conference (HPMC 2023) is a three event which opened May 24 at the Duo Milan Porta Nuova hotel.
The conference included more than 20 keynote presentations from leading industry experts, panel sessions and posters, with an agenda that includes topics such as Process Development and scale up of HPAPI’s, Strategies for effective outsourcing partnership, Containment and Handling Strategies, Validation of cleaning procedures to avoid cross contamination, current Regulatory Landscape and Hazard Assessment Classifications.
