Rommelag showing bottelpack and BFS solutions at Pharmtech Moscow

Waiblingen, Germany: – Advanced aseptic liquid filling and bottling specialist Rommelag Engineering will once again exhibit at Russia’s leading pharma trade show, Pharmtech 2017 in Moscow.

Rommelag will display its bottelpack and Blow Fill Seal (BFS) technologies at Stand B223 in Pavilion 2 of Hall 8 at Moscow’s Crocus Expo IEC, in partnership with local agent Textima Export Import. The display will encompass both Rommelag FLEX offerings for containment solutions and Rommelag CMO contract filling with bottelpack systems.

Growing Russian customer base

“Pharmtech is a show that we have been attending for many years, reflecting our ever-growing customer base in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe,” commented Rommelag Marketing Director, Andreas Häussner.

“Once again, the show will provide us with a great platform to meet existing and potential clients and present our latest technologies,” Mr. Häussner explained.

BFS solutions

The Rommelag display for 2017 will showcase samples of the products that hat can be produced with its bottelpack machines, including IV solutions, eye drops, inhalers and parenterals.

“Our stand will contain much of interest for any pharma professionals whose work involves sterile filling, liquid processing, aseptic filling of liquids and semi-liquids, as well as logistics,” said Mr. Häussner.

Evolving bottelpack technology

On Day Three of the show (Nov. 23), Area Sales Manager Thomas Obenauer will also make a presentation on ‘Modern Parenteral Packaging: new polymers & innovative designs for bottelpack containers’ at the related conference, PHARMTECHPROM 2017 on Nov. 23.

Mr. Obenauer’s address will cover the evolution of BFS technology since Rommelag first developed it in the early 1960s, leading to emerging applications for the technology, taking advantage of new materials as well as new suppliers for different polymer types.

Mr. Obenauer will also cover new container forms that are meeting new application needs, such as the new range of LVP-bottelpack containers; designed by Rommelag FLEX to collapse well without venting, offering reduced headspace to minimize overall container height.
